Overview

Roxie is a cutting-edge jewelry eCommerce platform that seeks to be the Shopify for jewelry businesses. It's tailored for young, professional women between the ages of 20-40 who want to build their jewelry businesses online.

As the sole brand and product designer for Roxie, I created a cutting-edge jewelry eCommerce platform that empowers young, professional women to build their businesses online.

Define

To achieve this, I followed a specific design process, starting with defining the target audience as passionate young women interested in the jewelry industry. I positioned Roxie as a modern eCommerce platform that offers a range of tools and resources to help jewelry businesses succeed online and created a brand identity that visually communicates the brand's cutting-edge and modern personality, while still maintaining a sense of elegance and sophistication.

The target audience

The first step was to define the target audience. I identified young, professional women who are passionate about jewelry and want to build their businesses online.

Brand positioning:

I positioned Roxie as a cutting-edge eCommerce platform that offers a range of tools and resources to help jewelry businesses succeed online. We aimed to create a sense of community and support among the jewelry entrepreneurs and their customers.

Design

Brand identity:

To design the brand identity, we created a logo that features a simple, stylized "R" in ruby red, representing the elegance and sophistication of the jewelry industry. The abstract strokes of the "R" are designed to convey the brand's cutting-edge and modern personality, while still maintaining a sense of elegance. The sleek and modern font reflects the brand's professionalism.

Color palette:

The brand's primary color is ruby red, which represents passion, sophistication, and elegance. We also used shades of gray to provide contrast and balance to the ruby red, giving the brand a modern and professional look.

Marketing strategy:

To promote the brand, we created a social media strategy that focuses on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. We created high-quality images and videos showcasing the jewelry entrepreneurs' products and their stories, and we partnered with influencers who embody the brand's values and mission.

Impact

The result of my work is a brand identity and platform design that successfully communicates Roxie's cutting-edge and modern personality while maintaining an elegant and sophisticated look.
